In the Bachelor of Education degree, Pedagogy-Psychology specialty, the development of this competence, becomes more relevant because its role transcends the walls of the school and is introjected in other contexts such as the family and the community. Through the application of investigative methods, shortcomings in the investigative performance of students and in the guiding process facilitated by teachers for the development of investigative competence were observed.
