Summary:and implementation of the Route Pantanal Pacífic. This proposal is an M.A. thesis projectlinked to the Graduate Program in Geography of the Federal University of Mato Grosso– UFMT. The main objectives are within the potential framework of the touristic destines of center and south South America have to the integration processes, especially to Brazil, Bolivia, Perú, Chile, and Argentina. It also will study the dynamic relation among their borders, which may be worked as integration instruments and tie-formation of their territories. As a scientific work, the theory references will cover social and tourist concepts adopted by geography and official organisms.Methodologically, this study is based on research carried out in loco by scientific trips along the central axis of the inter oceanic route and will pay special attention to the existing potentials along the frontier zones. Another important support will be the Program of the Ministry of Tourism coordinated by the National Secretary of Tourism Politic – Department of International Relations for Tourism, a dependency of the Federal Government that looks to establish touristic and social relations with its border countries. The results of this research will be divulgated in a thesis and latter by electronic means in a page generated with the helpof the Pantanal Pacific Institut, considered as one of the by products of this research.
