Description
Summary:The presented research began with the mapping of the geographical areas in which the Italian Regions have launched the “Internal Areas pilot project”. The goal is to test a model of socio-economic revitalization through development interventions funded by the Community and the Stability Law. Specifically, we first identified the Internal Areas and, subsequently, the initial and potential local development conditions of the prototype areas. Subsequently, we analyzed the organizational forms present in these prototype areas in order to contextualize the process innovations with a view to active protection and agri-food systems development. The project actions put in place were therefore examined, so that the protection of the territory can be returned to the local community and the co-production of innovative services, public-private co-governance, the associated management of the activities between municipalities can be guaranteed.
