Handmade toys represent significant tools in working with children with autistic spectrum disorders in Day hospital "Prof. dr Svetomir Bojanin" of Institute of Mental Health. These are the toys that draw the child's attention, improve their playing skills and create a chance for contact and communication. They are easy to use, adapted to the individual needs and sensory specifics of children. Each toy is made for a specific goal: achievement of satisfaction by touch and sight, practicing visual and motor control, improving concentration, enrichment of manipulative experiences, placing objects in different relations, observing different characteristics of the object.
