Description
Summary:My Nan managed to portray some complex aspects of herself through her 30 years of journal keeping. Over time I could see her inconsistencies, her lack of constancy, but rather than see them as faults, failings or weaknesses, I acknowledged them as being part of a living, changing, doing and being person -a person transcending the societal expectations for her age, sex and situation, and as an individual embracing a self of her own making.
