Description
Summary:The mission of writing an obituary for Professor Ioan Milescu (1928-2018) hides in itself a strong emotional, affective, moral charge and challenges anyone who would like to illustrate, in a cosmic fraction, what meant for us a Man whose Book of Life is full of lessons and models for every mortal. Under the unspoken but responsible oath, generated by personal trust by handing the evidence by which my illustrious master has become a remarkable personality, I intend to show that the virtues that defined the personality and life of Professor Ioan Milescu - honor, respect, professionalism, morality, style and elegance - have been cultivated for a long time, making it a symbol of our time. Endowed with the Grace of the Master, his reign has always conveyed the origin and qualities of a true high-profile intellectual: verticality, competence, ethics, openness to the new. The undeniable proof is that the theory of well-done work has perfectly applied it: it has published over 190 scientific papers, out of which 20 are textbooks, monographs and synthesis works, recognized for a solid scientific foundation, some of them being awarded with high academic distinctions.
