Description
Summary:The purposes of this study were: 1) to develop the learning activities integrated the 5E learning cycle and the co-operative learning with TAI technique to improve the learning achievement of bachelor’s degree students on limit and continuity based on the 75/75 standard, 2) to compare the learning achievement on limit and continuity between before and after learning through learning activities integrated the 5E learning cycle and the co-operative learning with TAI technique, and 3) to study the students’ learning satisfaction on learning through developed learning activities integrated the 5E learning cycle and the co-operative learning with the co-operative learning with TAI technique. The subjects were 40 first year students from the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology who were studying in the first semester of the academic year 2018 received from cluster random sampling. The research instruments used in collecting data were the lesson plan integrated the co-operative learning with TAI technique and the 5E learning cycle on limit and continuity, the learning achievement test on limit and continuity, and students’ learning satisfaction survey. The statistics used in analyzing data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test (independent samples) for hypothesis testing. The results revealed that 1) the lesson plan integrated the 5E learning cycle and the co-operative learning with TAI technique had the efficiency value of E1 /E2 of 90/85.83 respectively which were higher than the committed standard of 75/75, 2) the effectiveness index of the lesson plan integrated the co-operative learning with TAI technique and the 5E learning cycle was 0.7391 which meant that the learners had the increased learning progress of 73.91 Percentage, 3) the students had the significantly higher learning achievement after they learnt through the lesson plan integrated the co-operative learning with TAI technique and the 5E learning cycle than before learning through the developed lesson plan at the level of 0.01, and 4) the students who learnt through the lesson plan integrated the co-operative learning with TAI technique and the 5E learning cycle had the learning satisfaction at the highest level.
