Englishmen Settled in America in 1607, after the establishment of the first British colony called Virginia and since that time and until the outbreak of the conflict in the war of independence in 1776, Britain had thirteen colonies on the east coast of America, oversees the management and approval of the appointed rulers the British Crown, and enjoyed these colonies kind of autonomy, as each had its charter special systems affairs and the relationship between the ruler and the ruled and the representative councils and legislative list on election whether directly or indirectly, and there was no disagreement with the homeland until the end of Seven Years' War (1756-1763) with France and that ended the French presence in North America and made Britain the dominant bulk is not in the New World, but in Europe, Asia and Africa. Britain faced several problems since in 1763 most notably rising public debt and land management broad captured after the defeat of the French in America and that required kept as a major force in those areas, and in addition to feeling the British government that colonies did not lead what was to be done and presented Britain in the war promised Britain defend the colonies which led Britain review its policy in these colonies and since in 1763 tried to age several laws to subdue the colonies to its policy and taxation, most notably (royal proclamation to regulate the new land in 1763 and legal sugar and currency in 1764 and a legal character and subsidy in 1765 and the Tea Act 1773) and that caused the conflict political and intellectual male which Americans had no right to impose taxes on them because they are not represented in the British House of Commons However they filed several appeals to abolish the laws but the arbitrariness of the British government and the insistence of King George III to subdue the colonies for his case without any political solution, what was of the two only go to a military solution to resolve the conflict through what is known as the American War of Independence (1776-1783).
