Today, no enterprise in the world can do without the help of computer technology, including production. However, many functions of the enterprise are based on the old methodology inherent in traditional paperwork and document circulation in  paper  form.  In  connection  with  this  fact,  it  becomes  urgent  to  automate  these  functions  using  the  latest  information technologies. The paper considers the electronic document management system at an industrial enterprise currently in existence, the problems of controlling the readiness of design and technological documentation (DTD) for the launch of the  product  in  the  production  of  an  industrial  enterprise,  which  introduces  the  domestic  automated  PDM/PLM  system TechnologiCS (CSoft Development, Moscow) [1] supporting the product life cycle. To solve this problem, a method has  been  developed  in  the  form  of  an  electronic  system  for  collecting  information  about  a  product  and  its  evaluation  for  launching into production.
