The purpose of this study is to develop a methodology for determination of the priority directions for the city's industrial development. The paper analyzes the principles of sustainable development in the field of urban planning and spatial planning, outlines the mechanisms for stimulating economic growth in cities and the ways to determine the priority directions of the city's industrial development. The authors carried out a practical testing of the proposed methodology on the example of the city of Penza. Recommendations for a more complete use of the potential of the machine-building industry are developed.https://doi.org/10.1051/matecconf/201817001129 |
