Summary: | For several decades, Brazil has been experiencing a process of religious transformation, of which Evangelists, and particularly Pentacostalists, have been the main protagonists. The aim of this article is to outline a number of current questions that are relevant to understanding this religious group: the role of demographics, the configuration of religion within the family, economic ethics, political activity, religious intolerance and the expansion of Pentecostalism from within Brazil. In summary, we aim to consider the spread of Pentecostalism in its variations and reinventions. |
