Description
Summary:Migration or the population’s territorial mobility is not reduced to a spatial issue, it is a much more complex process that encompasses a multitude of elements and generates a large spectrum of positive and negative effects over economic, political, social, cultural and religious life, careless of the mechanisms that set the above-mentioned elements into motion or that influence their development. The effects take shape in the native place, from where the potential migrants part, as well as in the place of destination. The analysis aims to highlight a few consequences of migration, which, directly or indirectly, influence the evolution and the functionality.
