The wide variety in management options reflects its sophisticated nature and failure tendency. We report a case of a 4-year-old girl who developed severe subglottic stenosis secondary to a 3-month intubation in a leading pediatric hospital and was discharged without any hope of decannulation. The patient was fully investigated in our department, and her successful surgical management ended in the removal of the tracheostomy tube. The complicated surgery and learned lessons urged us to present this case.https://www.karger.com/Article/FullText/504571entmedicineotolaryngologypediatricssurgery
