Summary:Decline of the Ottoman Empire has used its last sta ge when World War I until the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey on October 29, 1923. Political and social changes have marked the country into two camps: supporters of the Sultanate and the nationalists led by Mustafa Kemal. Lasting conflict, both the Greeks and the Franco-British nationalists have gained ground and tilted the scales in their favor to end dynasty succeeded Osman. On the morning of November 17, last Sultan and his son ascended the British ship "Malaya" and fled. After the conflict, the Turks were invited to Lausanne where they were presented to winners. From this position they began negotiations. For Romania, the Convention in its final form became beneficial, because our perspective was adopted, and our interest to take the path through the straits has been approved.
