Notes on early Post-Natal development of the Namaqua Gerbil <i>Desmodillus Auricularis</i>
Early post-natal development is discussed of fivelitters of Desmodillus auricularis born in captivity. Litter sizeranged from one to three, with a mean of two. Nipple-clingingwas absent and young developed slowly, with eyes opening onday 22 and weaning occurring on day 33.
