Summary: | Solid papillary carcinoma is a rare type of breast cancer, with an estimated incidence of 1% of all breast cancer cases. In this case report, a 64 year old male presented with a painless axillary mass. Wide local excision and sentinel lymph node biopsy revealed solid papillary carcinoma. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of a solid papillary male breast cancer diagnosed from an axillary mass in the United States. We discuss solid papillary carcinoma of the breast and relevant literature. |
