The objective of this work is to examine representations, transformations, niches ofwork and "deaths" of the intelligentsia, and Mexican intellectuals in particular, because a review the reticle of the programs of undergraduate and graduate programs in sociology taught in the country you will find lines of research related to the field of the sociology of intellectuals are conspicuous by their absence: here is the importance of this work for the social sciences, and sociology in particular.
