Modelling of Water-Saturated Grounds under a Curved Section of an Oil and Gas Pipeline

The paper studies the influence of the oil and gas pipeline on the base of water-saturated soil in terms of external forces effect (from the pipeline). Description
Summary:The paper studies the influence of the oil and gas pipeline on the base of water-saturated soil in terms of external forces effect (from the pipeline). The developed mathematical model of stress-strain state of “the oil and gas pipeline and the grounds” system allows us to identify the maximum load resulting from the impact of a curved section of the pipeline on the base as well as the deformations occurring in the grounds.
