The focus of the investigation were independent professionals – not linked directly to the state administration or the army – who have their profession explicitly recorded on a stone monument. The catalogue lists 691 individuals and links towards their detailed personal files; while exhaustiveness is a goal hard to achieve when covering a vast geographical area, we have tries to collect all attestations and are convinced we succeeded in rendering the huge majority of professionals epigraphically attested.
