Summary:The Verrucaria fuscella group in Poland is revised. Two species, Placopyrenium fuscellum and Verrucaria polysticta, are confirmed for Poland, and Placopyrenium canellum is reported for the first time. Dermatocarpon subfuscellum var. serpentini Servít is synonymized with P. fuscellum and V. fuscella f. subpruinosa Servít is synonymized with V. polysticta.
