The entrepreneurial sector of the neiborhood Consejo Popular Sur of San Jose de las Lajas lacks of environmental strategies to lead its action. In the same way, there are limitations relating to the workers insertion in the actions directed to the environmental education. This research aims to design a strategy of community participation in order to achieve an environmental education in the entrepreneurial sector Consejo Popular Sur of San Jose de las Lajas. Different methods of the theoretical, empirical and mathematics, statistics levels were used to achieve the aim of the research. These methods facilitated the results. It shows the study of the theoretical, historical and methodological budgets related with the environmental education, community participation, entrepreneurial sector and strategies. It is also made the diagnosis of the current situation of the entrepreneurial sector Consejo Popular Sur of San Jose de las Lajas relating to the environmental education taking into account the community participation. The research ends with the proposal of a strategy that was designed from the results derived of the diagnosis carried out in the chosen companies with the support of the Section of the Sciences, Technology and Environmental Ministry of San Jose de las Lajas.
