In different languages, word stress plays various functions. Persian language is characterized by the complexity of the sound organization of the word. The article discusses the meaning-distinguishing function of stress in the Persian language. From the study, we can conclude that in the Persian language the place of stress is relatively stable, however, in many cases, when the place of stress is changed, the meaning of the word also changes. When accented and unstressed prefixes and suffixes are added to nominative words in many words, the place of stress falls on various syllables. When stress is changed, the meaning of the word also changes. 9 main and 26 auxiliary groups were involved in the analysis of words and word forms. The dominant feature in Persian words is the presence of a long vowel. This language, to obtain new words from the roots, makes extensive use of word construction methods, such as adjunction and addition. The Persian language also had significant connections with other languages, which led to many borrowings, especially powerful in ways in which a word can be built from a combination of affixes, stems, nouns and adjectives. In the Persian language, derivatives of the word are often used to build a new vocabulary from nouns, adjectives and verbal foundations. New words are largely formed by combining two existing words into a new one.
