He reveals the importance of the carpets in the value system of the traditional society. In the research from the semiotic perspective they were “texts of fi gurative symbols” important to ensure the social communication, synchronic and diachronic. The arguments demonstrate that the social-political events from the last two centuries had as a result the movement of some important groups of population, that took out of country many valuable carpets. In Europe and USA they were re-united in big carpet collections called Bassarabian (Bassarabian Rugs, Bassarabian Carpets, Bassarabian Kilims) included in the international circuit of the valuable things from different epochs. Just one category of carpets keeps it’s cultural identity – the one that represents a late tradition. The oldest and most valuable as an artistic image are continuously assimilated by other cultural traditions. We have the necessity of a researching in complex of these cultural goods, to determine their cultural belonging.http://akademos.asm.md/files/%20%D0%B8%D0%B7%20Academos+1+2009%2037%20COVOARELE%20%C3%8EN%20CONTEXTUL%20PATRIMONIULUI%20CULTURAL%20AL%20REPUBLICII%20MOLDOVA.pdf
