Like in the previous researches, this study shows that there has been a decrease in the production across the sector seriously affecting the up and down industries. These effects have been felt the most in agro-business, an industry which directly relies on constant and uninterrupted supply of produce from producers and to end users alike. Thus, this study recommends the need to adopt a mobile based agro-retailing model which is expected to meet the needs of both rural and urban consumers, such as the use of mobile phones for communication purposes between the agro retailer and the consumers, and financial transactions such as the use of plastic money. This is possible because there is high literate, mobile and internet active in both rural and urban communities. https://journals.adrri.org/index.php/adrrijass/article/view/416
