Operability Investigation of Electronic Control System of Powder Electromagnetic Brake

The paper presents a schematic diagram of the mechatronic control system of the electromagnetic powder brake (PET), which is part of the test complex as a resistance simulator for studying transient process in the truck automated transmission. The soft-hardware platform of the control system has a C...

The strategy of the PET braking torque control based on the PWM-signal with feedback on the dynamometric bridge deformation and the electromagnetic powder brake control algorithm in automatic mode of the power unit operation are described.
