Description
Summary:An introduction to spatial point pattern analysis or just a few (of many) things that could be done with mapped data. The most
frequent analysis of a spatial point pattern is a test of complete spatial randomness. As randomness is more of an exception than the rule in
the natural world it would be usually followed by modelling the generating spatial process. Different hypothesis can be tested for marked
patterns regarding the spatial dependence between marks: independence, random labelling, correlation, gradients in the value of marks, etc.
