Summary:The article presents the methodical development of the lesson devoted to one of Marina Tsvetaeva’s key poems. The lesson is elaborated for the 10th grade with specialization in humanities; it represents a workshop on complex analysis of poetic text. The logic of the lesson is based on clarification of Tsvetaeva’s specific poetic traits, characterization of perception of her works in ХХth century, and then on the analysis and interpretation of the «program text» opening a theme of Poet and Poetry in Tsvetaeva’s works. J. Brodsky’s essay on Marina Tsvetaeva helps students to understand the importance of each element of the literary text and its role in producing the aesthetic sense of the poem. Analyzing the poem, students work with rhythmic, melodic, verbal, spatiotemporal levels of the text. During the lesson particular attention is paid to students' independent work.
