The concept of child labour is based on the definition of the International Labour Organization (ILO): activity that does not allow a child to live his/her childhood, to express his/her potential and to have dignity. Concerning the ideological perspective, some questions that support child labour are analyzed, beyond economic factors. The subjectivity approach attempts to understand the impact of child labour on the development of children and adolescents. The topic of child workers´ health systematizes the risks and consequences of child labour.
