Description
Summary:With regard to the typology expounded by Torcuato di Tella pointing out the existence of a group of political parties known as “apristas” in the latinamerican leftist wing, this article proposes a historiographic review of the writings concerning this political movement. Considering these parties in a transnational and non-national framework, this article seeks to reread and to depict the evolution of that which has been written on this topic. Opening up to a new historiographic perspective, this writing struggles to highlight the new research approaches. These parties are, therefore, analysed in their local/global dimension, taking into account that this political family was a transnational network between the 20’s and the 60’s. Viewing it in terms of interpersonal ties and networks, it exposes both the theoretical and methodological prevailing challenges.
