Summary: | This article is the result of a survey in national conferences on the fields of Psychology, Sociology and Education with respect to the participation of children in scientific research. The aim is to analyse the productions that involved children between the years 2007 to 2017, at brasilian context that. Had been selected for analysis, articles that had in the title, the subject terms ‘Child’ and/or ‘Childhood’, as soon as they have been separated from the research ‘with the kid’ and ‘About child’. Subsequently, the work with the kid was analyzed and categorized. It was concluded that, in spite of being on the upswing, with the participation of the children, as well as in scholarly writing requires a careful look at. Were identified arond 9 categories, in each of the areas, having so many issues in a certain way, if you know, for the understanding of the different aspects involved in the early childhood from the child's point of view.
