Electrophysiology and muscle-nerve biopsies revealed a neuromyopathy.</p> <p>The serum bromide concentration was increased more than two-fold above the upper reference value.</p> <p>Clinical signs disappeared after applying diuretics and reducing the potassium bromide dose rate.
