Summary:Malignant tumours constitute one of the main morbidity and mortality causes worldwide. In 2012 about 14 million new cases were registered. It is estimated that the number of cases o recent diagnosis increases approximately in 70 % in the next 20 years. Cancer constitutes the second worldwide cause of death; in 2015 it causes 8.8 millions of deceases. Almost one of every six deaths is due to this disease.
