Ein Vorschlag zur Etymologie des ägyptischen Wortes ẖmś „Ähre“
The topic of this article is the search for a suitable etymology of the Egyptian word ẖmś ”ear“. The question is investigated here for the first time. The decision will favour ẖmś “to bend/ bend down”.
