This article aims to analyze the relations in between the French and Brazilian military officers. Its purposes are to understand the importance of anticommunism in the bilateral dialogue. Cooperation was strongly influenced by decisions taken by counter-revolutionaries French officers as by as anticommunist Brazilian officers. In this sense, our goal is to understand how political networks have led to the development of diplomatic ties dominated by the military aspect.
