| Summary: | This short report tells about an important event organized within the Romanian presidency over the Council
of European Union. It was a formal meeting organized
by Suceava NFA county branch, which gathered 100
representatives from 19 EU member countries on June,
5-6, 2019. Most of the speakers talked about the climate
change consequences upon the forest health and the need of stronger connections between different groups of experts. The two-day event ended up with a field trip in
the most precious piece of natural reserve, which is the
Slătioara old-growth forest, included in the UNESCO
heritage.
