Description
Summary:The objective of this study is to show PROQUALI (quality project) as a reference mark. We use the experience of its development in basic units of health of Ceara for demonstrating the importance of this mark and their concepts in the elaboration of projects. PROQUALI seeks the continuous improvement of the processes and procedures in the installment of services, and the satisfaction of the needs of the customers. It bases its performance on three kinds of concepts, which can improve the quality: Focus on client (listening), continuous learning process of improvement (communication and training/motivation) and changing management (planning, and evaluation) (Ceara, 1998). As work method was used of readings, reflections on the practice and bibliographical consultations. The work represented an odd opportunity to understand the importance of the reference mark and the concepts in the professional practice It collaborates with Souza (1984) and Vietta (1986) when they evidence the following contributions for applying of the reference mark and of the concepts in the elaboration and execution of projects of health:1 - it favors a more critical practice than it facilitates the scientific acting and the quality of the offered services 2 - it allows larger rationality and universality in the exercise of the profession. 3 - it generates larger technical competence and specification of functions. 4 - the concepts offer consensual indicators for confronting among the professionals about the used conducts and expected goals.
