The effects of calcium to magnesium ratio on the increments of dry weight and protein content in tomatoes
A change in the ratio of Ca: Mg ions in the medium or soil from optimum (3:1) to disfavourable values (3:30) causes dwarfing of tomatoes, a decrease of dry weight increment and of protein content.
