The modern system of economic management in Ukraine is known to be characterized by a complicated structure as it varies in different regions of the country. This is a reason for developing the potential of separate regions, proceeding from its ability to put into practice the innovative principles for the long-term perspective. In this aspect there appear a need to prove the expediency of such innovative projects realization. Therefore the article is undoubtedly of current importance.It is determined that little attention is paid to the evaluation of Ukraine developed regions innovative potential development.An export component of the social production is established to be the most significant indicator of region innovative potential evaluation both on the regional and national levels. For the innovative potential level evaluation there should be applied process, resource and integrated approaches.Within the limits of the mentioned approaches the coefficient of products competitiveness, national products marketability on the foreign market, etc. are worthy to be calculated.Application of the abovementioned approaches will allow to study the influence of products quality on the level of national and regional export potential that in its turn will raise the level of regions innovative potential in particular and the country as a whole.In future a number of indicators is going to be reduced due to the main component method which will help to eliminate the influence of duplicating multiple connections between indicators.
