Summary:The indigenous constructions of the Municipality of Tuchín, have been made over time in an artisan way, with materials from the area, which possibly do not meet the normative requirements. In this municipality there are winds that cause the fall of the structure, low resistance of its structural elements, homes not suitable for living and high insecurity conditions. This Municipality was chosen like pilot and at the moment it is recognized internationally for its constructions with techniques and ancestral practices, in addition, of its excellent crafts like the “vueltiao” hat; all this contributes to a structural modeling of this house in order to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants, for this it is desired to carry out a structural modeling with a construction system similar to the current one with suitable equipment and of the region , generating homes that comply with the NSR-10 resistant earthquake, technical specifications, bioclimatic considerations, optimization of the materials and the resources used, making it efficient during its useful life so as to guarantee the structural and cultural sustainability of housing.
