Global civic education has been supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international organizations as a means of promoting international development but the results might vary across regions and countries. We show that all of the above leads to a global approach to the development of the education system, not only for students but for society as a whole.
