In regard with the emergence of this interesting sector, a diagnostic of the system of production and marketing was carry out in order to determine the economic impact of this activity. The demand for bissap juice was found to be high and trade opportunities good, especially in dry season. The production of the bissap juice by women remains at the artisanal levels. In addition, bissap juice is sold in second hand plastic containers recovered in very busy places of the city. The consumption of bissap juice is mainly at all socio-professional levels of the population; among these consumers, men are the most important. Although the activity was found to be very stimulating for actors, it faces several constraints which constitute a brake on the development of this activity. In order to reboot the sector, a better organization of the market and actors is necessary.
