The goal of the study reported in this article was to identify which aspects of Japan most drawn the attention of Portuguese media in the 90s. Concordances and frequencies from the CETEMPúblico corpus, containing texts published in the Portuguese daily newspaper PÚBLICO in the 90s, and a combination of automatic and manual processes, were used for that purpose.https://journals.uio.no/osla/article/view/1459
