Making use of critical and documentary evidence of the period, the contribution reconstructs the show by Eduardo, focusing on his own directing perspective, characterized by metatheatricality and autobiography, towards a regeneration of national dramaturgy by the lifeblood of the Neapolitan theater tradition.
