Description
Summary:During WWII, the French interior resistance called for the participation of all the civilian forces within the country’s population. The participation of women and their bravery in the fight against occupation were reflected on the great number of written witness accounts produced by them which were also passed on to literary fiction, thus contributing to keeping alive the memory of those years of struggle and questioning of the political and cultural identity of the European peoples.
