Semantic prosodies can be both positive and negative, but previous reserchs show that negative prosodies are prevelant. The linguistic units subject to analysis were chosen depending on the author’s linguistic observations, and analysed based on the corpus data depending on the co-occurences and collocations. The corpus consulted in the study is the demo version of Turkish National Corpus.
