This is an objective process of feminization of society characterized by increasing role of women in the armed forces. Gender stereotypes are studied in the theory of gender. Today, the main areas of research include gender: a study of the evolution of gender, stratification research function of gender, the study of gender as a cultural symbol. The Armed Forces of Ukraine study the problem of the feminization of the armed forces for a number of reasons, did not receive adequate support and development. Some aspects of gender issues in the military studied at the National Defence Academy of Ukraine, Kharkiv University of Air Force Ivan Kozhedub, academies Navy named after PS Nakhimov. The aim of the paper is bringing research results dissemination of gender stereotypes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Case studies were conducted according to the plan of scientific work Kharkiv Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub. The main hypothesis of the study was that among women soldiers is a distribution of gender stereotypes innovative character, claiming constructive role of women in the military. Analysis of the results of the study showed that among women soldiers are not common stereotypes of patriarchal views on the presence of women in the military. The results showed dissemination of genderdetermined stereotypes that structure the military activity in male and female. Stereotypes denying the allocation of military activity differences for men and women, are also common among women soldiers.
