Description
Summary:In this paper I would like to present one of the most prominent theorits of postcapitalism, Wolfgang Streeck, making especial reference to the roll the consumption has been playing in the process from the Fordist to the post-fordist society. His thesis will be compared with other points of view about those socio-political changes that happened since the end of the World Word II. The consumption seems to have been of key factor in that process. In this article I will try to present the sense of this importance.
