Summary: | The aim of responsible management education is to build students' capacities to be future sustainable value generators for business and society in general. In this sense, business schools need to promote a sustainable management vision associated with the student’s scope of study. Based on this alignment, this research aims to analyze the effectiveness of a sustainability training discipline created by ISAE Brazilian Business School in raising awareness and promoting sustainable management reflection for executive students from different areas of knowledge. Based on the answer of students on questionnaires applied before and after each class, this analyze looks for measure the level of knowledge acquired by the participants, reflecting about this kind of initiative social contribution. The findings demonstrate a significant growth curve in the learning process representing a positive impact that allows researchers infers “Seminar of Contextualization” has an important contribution to raise awareness among leaders in search of a more sustainable world.
