Description
Summary:The formation of the new generations to respond to the needs of the labor force that society requires is a responsibility of all and vocational training plays an important role in this endeavor. The present article aims to present a theoretical review about the positions that have been assumed on this subject. The documentary review of articles, books and other information supports were used as a fundamental method to obtain as an essential result an overview of the antecedents and trends in the formation of this concept, as well as of its relations with education. It was possible to conclude that until now there are ambiguities in the national scientific community about the process to form vocations and the ages in which it must occur.
