Purpose of the article is to analyze the feasibility and efficiency of different types of marketing communications in the library ofKryvyiRihStatePedagogicalUniversity. The article is based on modern theoretical developments in the area of library marketing, without which successful work of an information institution is impossible. In the investigation are used statistical data from annual reports of the library, quantitative data on site traffic and users’ attendance of cultural and educational events, information from survey among students and teachers. The article describes forms of marketing interaction between the library institution, its users, and the public. University libraries, including the library websites, are the main application area of developments in information marketing communications.
